Southside Moving and Storage Review

I used Southside Moving and Storage in early July for a move between Norfolk Va. and Chesapeake Va..  The two movers that helped me, Matt and Frank, were pretty efficient and friendly.  They quickly got things out of my apartment and into the moving truck.  In about two hours or so for my 900 square foot apartment, but I also had a stupid amount of things.

The movers had moving materials to protect and wrap fragile items such as my wall art, tv, kitchen table, etc.  In the future I'd probably wrap that stuff myself so I could have peace of mind that it was properly protected, but they movers seemed to do a decent job at protecting my important items.

When we got to my new apartment building, the elevator was down for service !.  Despite the setback, the movers continued to unload items from the truck, and when it was clear that the elevator wasn't coming back anytime soon, started hauling things up 5 flights of stairs.  I felt pretty bad for the movers but they did what they had to do to get the job done.  I really appreciated their efforts.

I'd use Southside Moving and Storage again in a heartbeat, it's worth the money to have a worry free move.

Overall, they did a great job despite the headaches of the day.
